Easy to use…,
The Armour Etch cream is very easy to use. Makes wonderful etchings in glass/mirrors. Directions indicate leaving on for appx. 5 min., but I found if you leave it on longer (20 min) it brings the white color out more.
Received product within time frame that was given.
Recommended for persons who love to do crafts but with novice experience or for anyone who would like to add a little more to the windows, mirrors, or picture frames in their homes….

|Works as advertised!,
We used this product to make a bunch of Christmas gifts this year. We etched wine glasses, beer mugs, a large mirror, as well as a few other things. As long as you know what you’re doing it is really hard to mess up. We benefited from the fact that we already own a nice vinyl cutter (Graphtec CE-5000) and so the stencil creation was simple. I think some people cut the stencils by hand so results will vary. I applied the cream with a foam brush each time and left it on for about 10 minutes (5 minutes was probably enough though). This stuff goes a long way because after each use you can scoop it back up and put it back in the jar. It worked excellent each time we used it and made at least 15 different gifts.
One thing I’d like to note is that several people gave this product a bad review because it didn’t properly remove the coating from their eyeglass lenses? What the heck?!? This product isn’t meant for doing that. It’s kinda like people who use toothpaste to take the scratches out of dvd’s/cd’s. Lets go give Colgate a bad rating because it didn’t take the scratches out of my disc! Pretty ignorant! Not really fair to the company who makes this stuff either!
