    This is the first time I try one of Martha Stewart’s edge punches and I am very dissapointed unfortunately because it does not punch well no matter what paper i try. It seems the sides of the punch cut well but the middle does not and just gets stuck on the paper and when i go to pull out the paper it just rips. It seems like its not sharp enough in the middle so i tried to sharpen it by punching some aluminum foil and then wax paper as i’ve heard this helps to sharpen and lubricate punches but it still does the same thing. Ugh! I was so excited to use this and now I can’t return it because I purchased it at Michael’s and they don’t take returns if the product has been opened even though I have my receipt. I’m not sure if anyone else has had this problem or if I just have a defective one. If anyone has this punch please share your review so that I know. Thanks!

    After testing this punch on many papers, I found that it only worked on card stock (heavy paper), but it did so beautifully. I also found it was easiest to turn the punch over so that you could make sure you were lining it up correctly.
